Tickets for London Olympics
For UK residents London Olympics 2012 have opened up a pre-registration website:

Registration does not guarantee tickets but means that you will be provided with information as soon as it becomes available. UK and EU member state residents (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden) should apply via the official London Olympics website - see link above. Residents of other countries should register with their national olympic organisations for access to their countries allocation.
The organisers of London Olympics 2012 have appointed Ticketmaster as the official supplier of tickets for the games and the Para Olympic Games.

You can register with London2012.com to receive news of the event by email.
Note that each ticket will include free transport in London for the day of the event in order to encourage use of public transport.

- Sign up with other sites for tickets as all tickets will only be available through authorised re-sellers.
- Pay any money in advance of 2011 as the official site will not be collecting any payments before tickets are allocated.
